Newly paved roads have made driving into and out of the park dust free. We had a site with a magnificent view of the mountains to the west. The deer came out in the morning to greet us and were not afraid of our hooking up routine. Good park and good people. Will definitely use this park again.
This is an absolutely delightful campground. It has well a manicured lawn with paved streets and sites. Each site has a patio and a picnic table. The WiFi thing does not effect us as we use a modem stick and had a good connection. We would absolutely stay here again either over night or if we were in the are for a longer period.
We are here for a week but are pleased with the beginning. The price was right and the owners were more than friendly and helpful, even guiding us to our site. This is our first stay in NM and we are looking forward to the RT 66 memorabilia and the friendliness that we have seen. We will stop here again as the accommodations are great for the price, including free (excellent) cable TV and good Wi-Fi.
We were here two nights to visit a friend in a nearby town. Office staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and let us choose a site to our liking. We were in a long pull-through that was nearly level and despite the rain, we had a good time. I would recommend this site to anyone in the area and will certainly stop here again when in the area.
This is a delightful park with back-in sites, gravel and level. The park has a western ranch theme and includes a herd of Black Angus cows that wander by each morning and night (outside the park fence, of course). The owners are a very friendly and helpful couple. The wife gave us a welcome bag that was awesome when we registered. I would recommend this park to anyone and certainly will come back again when we are in the area.
Low nightly rate is based on their monthly rate. We stayed for a month with the Guadalupe River view out the back wheel of our Fifth Wheel. The owners and residents were friendly and courteous. With excellent free WiFi, we could stay in touch with family and friends. Cable was standard (13 channels) and free. Good view of southern sky for our satellite dish. Owners want to please, and go out of their way to do so. We will come back here when we visit the Hill Country.
The rate reflects their monthly charge. They have added WiFi since the last time we were here and it is managed by an outside agency. It works well and made our stay much more comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful in all that we asked. The park is 12 miles from Denton, and only 5 miles from Camping World. For touring Dallas or Fort Worth, it is 40 minutes away. We will return to this park whenever we are in the area.
We are spending a month here and are delighted with the park. It is clean, cared for daily, has two pools, one for adults and a hot tub. Free Wifi is a new addition this year and it works well. The rural setting is quiet and peaceful. Roads are paved and sites are gravel, graded. Staff is helpful and friendly. Nicely equipped store too.
We were parked beside the train wye, which was a thrill. The park is well cared for and provides a level of service above State Park expectations. Will stay here anytime we are in East Texas.
We are staying for a month and were surprised to find that Cable TV and Free WiFi were included in the rate. Management is very friendly and we are delighted with our site overlooking the lake. I would heartily recommend this park to anyone in the area.
We spent a month in the park while visitng the Savannah area. The park is a clean, well manicured facility with a friendly and helpful staff The monthly rate earned us the $13 rate. Fee included free cable TV too. We will return to this park when we visit Savannah in the future.
A perfect stop over campground. Friendly owner, clean grounds, level concrete pad, wide sites, long sites, free Cable TV, free WIFI, easy access. I would stop here anytime I am in the area. We need more parks like this in the US. Our $15 rate was Passport America.
